Grants and Funding opportunities

The planting of trees on farms/land may be personally funded by individuals or organisations. In addition to this, there are some agricultural support schemes which provide establishment funding for the development of an agroforestry site on individual farms. In the Republic of Ireland, the new forestry programme, launched in September 2023 provides financial support to encourage the planting of trees on land not previously under forest.
